In the recent migration project, when I restore the production db to the dev site. I found one site collection missed. After search around, I found the same site collection GUID is used in another web application.
You can use following TSQl to find the SiteGUID
use WSS_Content_Migrate SELECT SiteId AS SiteGuid, Id AS WebGuid, FullUrl AS Url, Title, Author, TimeCreated FROM dbo.Webs WHERE (ParentWebId IS NULL) use WSS_Content_dev SELECT SiteId AS SiteGuid, Id AS WebGuid, FullUrl AS Url, Title, Author, TimeCreated FROM dbo.Webs WHERE (ParentWebId IS NULL)
