I have a webpart that originally used a .dwp file which I replaced with a .webpart file.
The problem is that my webpart uses the statement mentioned above and it can’t work without it.
Right now my choises are:
1. Leave the statement and use a .dwp file – Unacceptable.
2. Remove the statement and use a .webpart file – Doesn’t work.
I need to use a .webpart file, so option 1 is not good for me.
Any idea?

Hi Lesh_MLesh_M:
.webpart or .dwp are just xml file. If you have source code, you can rebuild it to a .webpart extension.
